What to wear?

As I have mentioned earlier my friend who is now an American Citizen is having a party to celebrate and the theme is, of course, U. S. A! Chuckles and I took a trip to Value Village earlier to try and find some good ole patriotic shirts, but we weren’t very lucky. Although, I did find some amazing stripper shoes…but those will be saved for another sort of party. Chuckles has several very cool red, white, and blue shirts we can wear, but before I settled on that I decided to do some searching on ebay to see what I could find and I found plenty. There were two items that would be perfect – here are pictures for your viewing pleasure:

While this would be the most perfectest patriotic costume ever I’m afraid it is quite expensive. I tried to bargain with Chuckles and use my rent money for it, but that was shot down. So, dear readers, do you have any suggestions for the coolest patriotic “I am a stoopid American” costume?

Go as Bush.

Amazing--I saw a Palin mask. That would be pretty hilarious too--imagine the fun with accents.

Matt - Thanks!

Jamie - Also, the corse is lovingly handmade so that makes in way more awesome.

Surviving myself - Genius, and Chuckles could go as Cheney and shoot people. It's perfect.

Elizabeth - Strangely enough I have unconsciously been quoting Tina Fey as Palin lately so it wouldn't be that difficult for me.

Captain America and that outfit is perfect for a USA party.

Or just dress as Betsy ross. She was a hip hip lady.

I'd say just go with the top. If you wear both, I think you'll end up looking too much like a superhero!

Alexa - Of course! A superhero costume, I'm embarrassed I didn't think of it myself.

rs27 - Strangely enough I have a friend who has a Betsy Ross costume so that would be perfect.

Angela - Maybe if I had a cape and go for full on superhero status that would make it better. That and I'll yell Shazam a lot.

It's not a Betsy Ross costume!!!!!!!!!!! It's AMISH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you are talking about me!! You better watch it missy!!

I was going to suggest you wear your rubber shirt. How American is that? It's rubber! And it's yellow, Mike's favorite color.

I do really love the bodice. That is a tough act to beat. The boots are nice but the bodice with a pair of cut off's is SOLID gold. A cape would be nice too actually.

The bodice reminds me of an updated Wonder Woman costume. Which reminds me of this article I just read about Lynda Carter saying that she's afraid of Sarah Palin (http://www.phillymag.com/arts_events/articles/whats_what_with_lynda_carter/).

Anyway, I think you should go with the bustier because what's more American than tits and ass.

That outfit with a Palin mask would be perfect. YOU CAN'T AFFORD NOT TO WEAR SOMETHING SO FABULOUS.

Tell that to Chuckles.

Love the new blog design!!

And I would throw on some "Tina Fey glasses" and a suit and go to town.

Otherwise, be the typical stoopid American and wear something really Redneck...

Dress like an Abu Ghraib guard! And Chuckles can be one of your tortured prisoners!

Or dress like a billionaire and Chuckles can dress like a pauper paying for your bailout. He can hand you money all night.

Or dress like Joe the Plumber! And Chuckles can dress like Joe Sixpack. You can try to out-complain each other all night.

I can keep going. Can you tell that I can keep going?
